Awareness (Study) contents

As per the National Bioresources Development Board under the department of Biotechnology, the DNA Club is divided into two categories Group A (6-8th standard) and Group B (9-12th standard).

The Study contents of the group B (Class 9-12th) are given below:

    • Science and technology and its impact to environment
    • Photosynthesis and biogeochemical cycle
    • Systematics and classification,
    • Biodiversity
    • Conservation of natural resources, renewable and non- renewable
    • Biofertilizers –green manures, nitrogen fixation
    • Plant tissue culture and its application
    • Factors Contributing to the Population Explosion
    • Organisms and their environmental factors, ecological adaptation
    • Biotechnology and genetics
